Operation Diaper Wipe Out: Unexpected Obstacle

My how the tables have turned....

Over the course of 3 days, The Bot has now gained such superior control over his bladder that he can squeeze out a few drops anytime he fancies having a treat.  I can't even do that!  Of course, I'm not going to let him eat 300 cookies a day, so I've just been trying to inconspicuously ignore his requests, offering instead more hugs and kisses and the like.  He seems to be taking it ok, but is sometimes insistent!

Any advice on how to proceed?  I need to fine-tune my motivational skills as I will be employing them again in the not too distant future!

Bad case of the Mondays.

Today was totally lame.  And then it got better.  Then, it ended as it began.

It's after 10:00 PM and I just got off of work.  I clocked in at noon.  I didn't get ten hours because I had to take a two hour break to clean this:

 The Poop Debacle of 2011

Stellan apparently shares our feelings about this movie.

No surface left untouched.

Created by these:

The Flour Debacle of 2010

Because, while I'm at work, I can't keep an eye on them.  (There are no pictures of what the boys looked like today because I was too disgusted/enraged to take any.  Also, that's gross.)

My butt hurts.  My head hurts.  I'm tired and cranky.  Crankier than I am tired apparently, because I'm writing this post instead of sleeping.

BUT, in the spirit of my previous post, I will try to look at my day in a different light.

I woke up this morning to the sound of my sweet babies talking to themselves (or each other?) in their rooms.

After breakfast, Rowan built me a rocket (read:  put a DVD sleeve on my arm) and took me to the moon (read:  his bedroom), then put me to sleep in his moon bed after reading to me and saying his first prayer.

I got to use the Bissel carpet/upholstery cleaner that my awesome bro-in-law gave us during my work break.

My couches and carpet look far better than they did this morning!

My mom came to visit (because she loves me and also I called her and cried) and Buck brought me home a treat!

That made my day sound totally awesome!  You know, this whole "being positive" thing could work!  :)
