A Parcel!

My UPS friend brought me a present on Monday!  Y'all know how I love sample sale websites and all that good stuff.  Well, this particular present was courtesy of HauteLook.com.  I've been on a lipstick kick of late, so I was pretty stoked when I saw that they had LORAC products for like 80% off!  Each of these items was originally priced at $18-$20, and I paid $24 for the lot!

Good night, I love sales.

A Day in the Life

I really love watching the boys hang out.  They're total BFFs!  You know, the kind where you fight about everything and get upset with each other, but you'd rather be upset together than doing anything else apart?  They're that kind.  That's the real deal :)

Also, I got a package from OpenSky today!  They credited my account in celebration of the new year so I got them practically for free!  I think I spent $3 and they're really nice cutting boards!  Have I mentioned how much I love good deals?

Want $10?

Hi.  My name is Lizard, and I'm a discount junkie.  Sales are like mother's milk to me.  That came out creepier than I expected.  Anyway, I subscribe to a few different deal websites and  Fab.com is one of them.  Right now, they're offering a $10 credit to anyone who registers with them!  There's no obligation to buy and no monthly fee or anything!  I'm not sure if you have to be referred by me in order to get it, or if you can just sign up on your own.  (I just got an email saying that my friends will get it if they sign up.)  The link there is my personal invite link.

That's ten free dollars, folks.  Here are some things I wouldn't mind getting for free (or almost free):

Mozzarella Cheese Making Kit
Travel Chopsticks
Three Boats in a Box
A B Seas Stamp Set
Tambourine Jingle Stick
Aqueduck
Ginger Spiced Beets
Coconut-Citrus & Poppyseed Vinaigrette
Drunken Monkey Jame
Tagine (SERIOUSLY!)

The offer only lasts for the next 24 hours, so if you can't find anything you want to have and not pay for--feel free to get any of the things on that list and have them sent my way, because I don't actually get to partake in this deal, haha.

Go forth, and know me better man!

WIN a Trip to Paris!!!!!

You heard me!  Head on over to Oh Happy Day to enter!  Or don't, because....you know....I want to go!

Smith family holiday love, courtesy of Shutterfly!

Hey folks!  As I'm sure many of you have noticed, the holiday season is upon us and although the Smiths haven't had much time to celebrate, we're definitely glad it's here!  Christmas is my favorite!  I love lights, chocolate, baking, parties, and good movies and good music and Christmas provides me with plenty of all of them.

I started working again last month so we haven't been able to spend very much time together as a family recently.  I've been wanting to take the boys to see Santa or the lights at Temple Square or something, but we haven't had an opportunity yet.  I haven't even been able to decorate the house or make cookies or anything!  So, in an effort to feel like we've done something Christmasy this year (and in case we don't get a chance to do anything else), I decided to send out family Christmas cards like all the cool kids do!

Let's be honest, a big part of that decision was the fact that Shutterfly is doing a promotion for bloggers and as a result of this very post, I'm going to get 50 free cards to send out.  Great timing, Shutterfly!  This appeals to both the Christmas lover and the Scrooge in me, as the reason I haven't sent cards out before is I'm too cheap!

It's taken me forever to decide on which design to use and even now I've only narrowed my selection down to 7.  They have about a million different cards to choose from and they're all so classy and pretty!  Once I make my selection, I'll have to pick which pictures to use an who knows how long that'll take me.

I was going to post some of the pictures I'm considering using, but I don't want to spoil the surprise for any of you!  Instead, I leave you with this, the boys' first gift to me this season:

Hear ye! Hear ye!

Today is Haagen Dazs' 50th birthday! So, anyone living in or around Salk Lake City should stop by the Gateway Haagen Dazs shop and get your free scoop of ice cream! You can choose from chocolate, coffee, or strawberry. That goes for all you people elsewhere in the country/world too!

Also, if anyone knows of any other Haagen Dazses in the Utah County area please let me know either in my comments section or by phone because I want my free ice cream and I don't know if Buck will aquiesce to drive like an hour and a half away just for a free scoop :(

I think we all know that I would!

Much obliged!
