Blog Sale!

Top o' the mornin' everyone!  Today, I'm having my first "Blog Sale!"

The Smith family is hurting, financially.  I've been on the job hunt for a few months now but it seems there isn't much demand for employees that can only work two days a week.  If Buck didn't have to take call I could have taken the early morning newspaper delivery job I was offered, but alas...  It seems as though it's time for me to focus my efforts toward alterior methods of making money.

Sadly, the 30 pounds I've gained in the past few years renders me unfit for selling my body.  So that rules out street walking, egg harvesting, and any number of available gym jobs. (I have, in fact, checked into two of these three options.  I'll let you decide which ;))

We don't have money to invest in starting any at home businesses and I don't have the necessary skills for any legitimate work-from-home transcription jobs.

Getting a baby sitter to watch the boys so I can open up my work availability would be counter productive since any income of mine would go straight to them.

And that is what brings me to my most recent idea:  selling my stuff!  I've posted our "old" Bumbleride Queen B on KSL and eBay, today I'll be doing the same with my snowboard and boots.  I figured I might as well give y'all the inside look in case you or someone you know might be interested in them!  In addition to these two items, anyone in the area is welcome to come over and look through my closet or around my house to see if there's anything you like!  I have some cute clothes and decorations!  The only things not for sale are the T.V and furniture (pretty much anything that belongs to Buck) because the hubs doesn't know I'm doing this and probably won't find out because he doesn't read our blog.

Ooh, also-I put these ads in the sidebar over there to try and make a few extra dollars.  So if you wouldn't mind clicking on them every once in a while, that would help me out a bit.

Here are some pics of the stroller and snowboard stuff!  Refer to my other blog (La Vita Bella) for some pictures of the house to get an idea of some other stuff you could buy)
K, well it's obvious that I haven't yet mastered the art of positioning the pictures in my blog.  But at least you can get a look at the stuff :)  And just for fun, here's a cute picture of Rowan wearing Buck's xbox head phones (which are, of course, not for sale.)

  1. I love you girl :) Don't sell off everything you have yo! Buck will figure it out sooner or later when even just your stuff keeps disappearing! :)

  2. Haha maybe. But if I don't make some money very soon we might lose the house. If I have to choose between that and selling my bed spread, I think I'll come to terms with losing the bedspread.

  8. oh i had to take the test 3 times before i passed it. i guess my math was a little rusty. after you get "approved" the training is a little annoying since you don't get paid for it, but it is so worth it in the end. fast, easy, LEGIT money that you make just by sitting in front of your home computer and it gets direct deposited right into your account each month. can't beat that. i also do mystery shops for apartment complexes that pay 30 dollars a pop. Idk if there are any in your area, but check out epmsonline.com. you can get 60 dollars per shop if you are willing to wear a hidden camera lol.

  9. okay, so i just looked it up, and there are no apartment shops in your area. (dont kill me haha) BUT I ALSO do mystery shopping for a company called BestMark, they don't pay as much and you have to put your own money up front, but they are legit. (like you would go to bestbuy, purchase a dvd or something to evauluate the store and service, and then report back and they reimburse you for the dvd and give you like 10 dollars, you can also do it for pizza delivery and other food) so you are really only making a little bit, but you get free stuff haha. that website is bestmark.com

and that is officially all i do to make money. haha.

  10. That snowboard is hot! But I've never been in my life, so I really don't need it. Are you sure you're not going to need that stroller anymore? It's so nice!
