Last post pre-Stellan!

I went in for my 39 week check up this afternoon and got my membranes stripped. For those of you who don't know what that means, look it up if you're curious but I forewarn you it's kind of gross. Essentially, it's something the doctor can do to try and jumpstart labor without actually inducing you. Anyway, I'm ready to pop this baby out so I went ahead and had my doctor do it and if my body's ready, I should go into labor sometime within the next 72 hours on my own. BUT, just in case it doesn't work (or ends up taking anywhere near the 72 hours) I'm now scheduled to be induced on Thursday.

I wanted to wait and go into labor on my own this time, but I've been feeling pretty useless at home with Rowan for the past couple of months just laying on the couch all day because of my SPD (bad hip pain) and I can feel the depression setting in already so I want to get the labor and delivery underway so I can deal with the rest of the emotional crap as soon as possible, know what I'm sayin?

So, I should have another kid by the end of this week! And before that blog post, I wanted to get in one more of just Rowan :)

Rowan has been learning so many new things. He talk all the time and says new words every day and he's getting really good at using a fork and spoon (I finally found the bowls with suction cups on the bottom that I've been wanting forever!) and he's even helping out with chores around the house! Often, they're the chores that don't actually need to be done but, it's the thought that counts, right? It's more than I can say for Buck! (Just joshin!) Anywho, here are some cute pictures and videos of Rowan being Rowan.
